Production process

creoptima wants to create a "more natural" brand and refine the production process. What is important for the collection is to have a natural touch, a longer durability and good quality combined with versatility of the pieces so they can be styled in different ways.

In the production process creoptima uses free solar energy what is renewable and clean. This reduces production costs for a small company but imagine what free solar could do for a big fashion production company, over a period of ten year time they can reduce a big cost.

For every design it's important to choice the correct materials. It's like building a house, the design is the blueprint and the materials and fabrics are the construction, it all needs to fit together. Every aspect of a clothing piece has an own purpose from the design to the fit and choice of the materials. Some designs are made in natural fabrics like Cotton, Wool, Linnen and others will be made in a blend of manmade fibers likes Rayon, Viscose, Lyocell, Modal with a natural basis like Wood pulp, Bamboo or Cotton linters. Blends are used to make them easier to wash, to make them wrinkle less, stretchability, for drapery or knitwear so the pieces are easier to take with you to travel.

In every piece polyester thread to stitch is used, why polyester, because it's stronger and nobody wants their pants splitting at the seam in the middle of the day. So for stitching we choose for strength, durability and longevity of the clothes so you can enjoy them longer. The other option would be cotton thread for stitching but it's more preferable for decorative stitches.

In fashion companies it's always looking for balance between natural resources and the necessary manmade materials like zippers, stitching threads, buttons, backing or use of fabric blends. It's finding that good balance between both that is the sweet spot, a natural touch, skin friendly materials and sometimes using manmade materials for durability.

There are so many ways fashion can be produced and creating a smoother process along the way that speeds up production, has a solid recycle system, with a lot of material and production knowledge and can scale up by using smarter processes is what would make the dream come true.
